Well here I am trying out blogging. For a guy who loves to talk about just about anything, why has it taken me so long to try this? I guess one thing is it isn't as if I don't have enough to do.
But there are so many fun things out there to be discovered in the world and shared.
For example I tried to get a books discussion group going on classic (not just The Classics) books that many people would like. But others just wanted to talk about new books. Most new books are not very good. I mean, there are books we still read that are many years old. When did you read a new book that you thought might eventually be one of those?
I could start a Favourite or Recommended Books list.
I have a 10 year old son and an 11 year old daughter who both love reading. I can recommend so many books to them. They even have read some of them! I have to remember that they are not me, however, and what I remeber liking I might have been reading at an older age.
